Ingenico announces new executives for Latin America

Ingenico Group (Euronext: FR0000125346 – ING), the global leader in seamless payment, has appointed two new executives in Latin America: Helcio Beninatto has been named Senior Vice-President for the region, and Marin Mignot has been appointed as the region’s Chief Operationing Officer.“Latin America is a key strategic region for Ingenico. Our performance has been strong throughout the first semester, driven by a very dynamic Brazilian market. The region has benefited from strong momentum and we are very proud of what has been achieved in this market. Together with a new operational team, we are ready to take Ingenico to an even higher level in this market, says Matthieu Destot, EVP, Banks & Acquirers, Ingenico Group.

Helcio Beninatto
With nearly 30 years’ experience in the technology and sales industries, Helcio Beninatto has significant expertise in consulting and corporate leadership. In his career, he has worked in organizations including Sonda, EDS and Unisys, where he served as General Manager for Unisys, leading Latin-American operations.
In this new position, his primary focus will be to maintain the momentum in the region, whilst continuing to grow in the overall business.

“I am highly passionate about transformation and the Latin American market has shown an exciting evolution. Our objective is to continue in that direction, whilst always offering a differentiated consumer experience to our clients, he explains.

Marin Mignot
With over 25 years’ experience in sales, operations and regional leadership, Marin Mignot has worked in companies including Airbus, GECI International, SOGETI High Tech and Capgemini, where he held a number of different roles, both in executive Sales and as COO. “I am thrilled to be part of an organization like Ingenico, which assists the development of business in an area that has been growing steadily in recent years,” he says.
As the new COO for the region, Marin will lead two areas: whilst managing Ingenico’s overall Solution Development and Customer Fulfilment & Support in the region, he will also be responsible for business development in Brazil.

“Our goal is to provide customers with differentiated solutions that make electronic payment transactions even simpler and more secure. We therefore need to know the local demands, the technology and market trends very well.
After more than three years as Head of Latin American operations for Ingenico, where he played a key role in leading teams to cope with market changes and keeping the company in a competitive environment, Jose Luis Arias takes over the leadership of Ingenico’s business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, based in Ingenico’s Paris Headquarters.
